Adovia Intensive Anti Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer Cream is a rich moisturizing cream that can double as a moisturizing makeup primer.
I received a free sample of Adovia Intensive Anti Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer Cream to review and have been using it for the past few weeks. All opinions expressed about this product are my own based on my experience using this product.
I previously reviewed a soap by Adovia and liked it so much that I have continued to use it. I like that Adovia products seem well formulated and contain mostly natural ingredients.

My Experience Using Adovia Intensive Anti Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer Cream:
Two things struck me right away…
First, this face cream is thicker in texture than I prefer. I usually prefer a thinner face cream as I feel it usually absorbs a little faster. This is a very rich and intensive moisturizer. It may be perfect for someone with very dry skin.
The second thing that really stands out, the scent reminds me of a face cream my grandmother use to use. I don’t mean that in a bad way, the scent reminds me of roses and something else. It is a very “lotiony” smell (if that makes sense). It seems like it would be right in place on an antique vanity next to a jar of classic cold cream.
It does make my skin feel soft. My skin also feels very smooth after use (though products with Dimethicone give a temporary sense of smoothness). I have been using it mostly as a night cream since it is so rich and since I prefer to use Sunscreen during the day. However, it also can work well as a primer for makeup (many primers contain Dimethicone gives the skin a smoother surface while the product is worn). I have used this cream as a primer the past couple days. I apply a light sunscreen first, or use foundation that contains sunscreen.
I recommend Adovia Intensive Anti Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer Cream for readers who want a rich, intensive moisturizer. It doesn’t hurt if you have a flair for vintage as the scent does suggest old-school glamor (in my opinion). It seems gentle as it does not irritate my skin.
I also recommend it for readers who are interested in a moisturizing primer–provided they also wear a good sunscreen.
