Topical Hyaluronic Acid Serum is considered an effective moisturizer. I personally find that it makes my skin immediately feel soft and smooth. I had the opportunity to try a sample of Foxbrim’s Hyaluronic Serum. I like to take the time to test all skin care products before I review, so I have been using it daily for a month.

According to Livestrong.com:
Since hyaluronic acid holds moisture well–holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water–it is a commonly used component in moisturizers. In these moisturizers, it functions not only to deliver water to the skin, but also to hold it there. As a large molecule, it doesn’t permeate deep into the skin, but instead stays near the surface where it moisturizes the skin surface layers.

Foxbrim’s Hyaluronic Acid Ingredient List |
Ingredient List:
Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Wildcrafted Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Pelargonium Gravolens (Geranium Essential Oil), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin
My Experience:
I love the way my skin feels after applying Foxbrim’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It feels soft and smooth and looks a little plumped up shortly after application. The serum does feel a little sticky at first, but it quickly absorbs and sits well under my sunscreen and makeup.
The first time I used it, I did experience a very slight burning sensation. I thought it might be from the witch-hazel as I have had a similar (but stronger) reaction from other products containing witch-hazel. I was afraid I would not be able to use this serum, but the next time I tried it, my skin felt fine.
Foxbrim’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum is packaged in a dark colored bottle. It uses an eyedropper to dispense the product–I would prefer a pump but the eyedropper works well. I am able to apply to my face and neck using one or two drops of Foxbrim’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum. So the one fluid ounce bottle seems like it will last a while.
Directions For Use:
- Wash and pat skin dry.
- If you are going to use a toner or vitamin C serum, apply before the Hyaluronic serum.
- Apply a small amount to entire face, neck and décolleté.
- Allow to dry. Can be used daily; can be used under make up.
