I love a good barefoot, mind-body style workout. I recently discovered Air Bar Exercises by Erin Buchanan and it is exactly that type of workout!
Air Bar is a unique fusion, it seems to include elements of yoga, martial arts, and calisthenics.
I was fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of Air Bar to review. Also, one lucky Feeling Fit reader will also receive their own copy! (See giveaway after my review of Air Bar exercises).

What I Like About This Workout:
I like the focus and intention of Air Bar Exercises. Breath is a big part of this workout and I personally find that if I focus on my breath a workout is very refreshing and invigorating. That exercise high comes a little easier when I really breath deeply.
Some of the exercises do not look like much, but if I fully engage my muscles I do feel it. I felt a little fatigue in my muscles. I find workouts like this get more challenging as my technique and focus improve. But I also find they take a little patience and have a slight learning curve.
I found the mobility work helps loosen up areas that felt tight from working at my desk. I think this is a great workout to loosen the body and to free myself from inhibitions.
This Workout DVD Might Not Be For You If:
Different people have different preferences with workout attire. If you are someone who does not like to see instructors wear revealing clothing this workout may not be for you. The instructor wears short shorts and a sports bra throughout. I included images of the cover so you can decide for yourself.
I wish the workout was chaptered so I could choose to do portions of it. It is ideal to do the whole thing but sometimes I like to mix and match different portions or different workouts.
I also think some might find this workout a little “airy’ for their preference. Being a left coast girl, I have a high tolerance for the “airy-fairy” or “whoo-whoo”. I find that some workouts I love for their creative visuals and descriptions annoy some. I think this is one of those workouts. Throughout the workout, the instructor cues the moves and includes motivational affirmations. The workout ends with a little focus and meditation. I just thought I would mention that.

This looks like such a good workout!
This workout looks like the type that I can use at home in the early morning hours as an alternative to yoga exercises.
