Phones, computers and gadgets are often a big part of the Feeling Fit lifestyle. We listen to music while we exercise, or maybe we listen to the news, or a podcast. Maybe we listen while we are on-the-go. Or maybe when relaxing at the end of the day!
In this post I will review Audiosharp AS1218 Noise Isolating In Ear Headphones With In-Line Microphone. These in-ear headphones have a great sound and are available on Amazon for a very reasonable price.
My Experience Using Audiosharp Noise Isolating Headphones:
While testing these in-ear headphones I have used them for the following purposes:
- Walking on a running track listening to music connected to my phone (I tried them running, but the sound wasn’t right. I do not recommend them for higher impact activity. Stick with sports earphones for that. Also for safety sake, please don’t walk on the street listening to these or any noise cancelling headphones!)
- Listening to an Udemy course connected to my computer
- Listening to NPR connected to my phone
- Watching Amazon Prime and Netflix connected to my iPad and my Kindle Fire
- Listening to Pandora connected to my phone while blogging. (Right not I am listening to the Marvin Gaye station and am grooving to a little Stevie Wonder at them moment!)
So I have used these earphones to listen to spoken word narration, television programming, and music on 4 different devices.
I really prefer the sound of these headphones over my Bluetooth headphones. Don’t get me wrong, I love the convenience of my Bluetooth speakers and headphones. I just find the sound smoother and more immersive with the wired in-ear headphones. So these are the earphones I am most likely to reach for when relaxing.
The Audiosharp earphones very comfortable, the set came with 2 replacement ear buds in different sizes.
The set also included a velcro cable “tie” to help keep the wires from getting tangled. It also comes with an attractive little storage case. I like how easy it is to neatly keep these earphones in my bag.
The cord is very flexible and rubberized. This is my first set of earphones with this style of cord. I don’t have an opinion about this type of cord, but I just thought I would mention it.
Audiosharp’s in-ear headphones also features a built-in microphone with simple controls. I tested the microphone on a voice memo and it did sound better than using the built in microphone. It is certainly a handy feature if you need to make or take a telephone call!
My Conclusion: The Audiosharp in-ear headphones has a nice sound during sedentary and lightly active activities. They are comfortable and easy to keep tidy with the included case and cable tie. These earphones are my new carry-on bag, travel essential.
