Oh those Summer nights! Last Summer I discovered the joys of an afternoon or evening baseball game. While I have always enjoyed a casual softball game with friends, I never thought I liked watching baseball. I thought the games were too long and I expected to be bored. All that changed when I went to a San Francisco Giants game on vacation last Summer!

I was a total newbie to baseball culture and was puzzled by the loud, but small bells people were ringing! I wrote that off as a local tradition.
When I returned home, I decided to check out a local Summer league and ended up going to a half dozen home games. During the exciting moments, I could not hear my own cheers over those silly cow bells!
This year, I am prepared! Thanks to Stewart Trading LLC who sent a complimentary cow bell to review (and to use this baseball season!). With my new 9.6 inch cow bell, everyone will hear my cheers with the best of them!

I noticed many audience members had decorative cow bells. Some looked like standard team merchandise and others were more personal. I didn’t realize until recently that many people decorate their own cow bells.
You can use paints, stickers, decals, whatever catches your fancy! I have not decorated mine yet (confessions the next photo has been edited!). I am thinking of decorating one side for my favorite university team and the other for the local Summer league. The nice thing about the white background is that it is highly versatile. I may also leave part of it plain so I can write custom messages with removable chalk markers!

Of course, Cow Bells are not just for baseball! People also use them for other sports (especially football in some regions), for weddings and other events. You can even use one as a personalized dinner bell if you want.
