Some like it hot, do you? Visit www.feelingfit.info for a review of Chef Christiane Pereira's Brazilian "I'm Hot"Gourmet Hot Sauce featuring tomatoes and malagueta peppers.

A spicy hot sauce is a staple in my home. It is my most used condiment. I recently tried Chef Cristiane’s Brazilian Hot Sauce made from malagueta peppers. I loved this flavorful, spicy hot sauce!

I love the sassy packaging design almost as much as the flavor!

My Experience Using Chef Cristiane’s Brazilian Hot Sauce:

Chef Christiane’s Brazilian Hot Sauce is medium-spicy sauce. It is mild enough for those who like a hint of heat, but heat lovers can build the intensity by using more sauce. I like moderately spicy but flavorful sauces, and “my fellow” likes his sauce very hot. We were both impressed with Chef Christiane’s Brazilian Hot Sauce.

I find that many hot sauces to taste a little too much of vinegar. I like a nice vinegar, but I prefer that it not overpower the flavor of my hot sauce. I found Chef Christiane’s sauce tasted more like tomatoes, spices and peppers with just a hint of vinegar. The flavors are well composed and well-balanced. This sauce is a new favorite!

Here is the nutrition data and ingredients list.

About Chef Cristiane Pereira’s Brazilian “I’m Hot” Gourmet Hot Sauce:

Chef Cristiane Pereira’s Brazilian “I’m Hot” Gourmet Hot Sauce is craft made in cmall batches. It features Malagueta Peppers and is rated  Mild/Medium in hotness (though as mentioned, you can increase the intensity by using more sauce). I should say that Chef Christiane rates it mild-to-medium. I would agree that it is medium, but I have seen sauces described as “hot” that lacked the same intensity and flavor. The bottle contains 5 oz of sauce.

According to Chef Christiane:
“This is a unique homemade hot sauce made from an old family recipe. Each bottle is made from a small kitchen by Chef Christiane Pereira of Taste of Brazil Cafe in Chicago.-  Medium Hotness with a fresh tomato taste just like they serve in Brazil with a perfect balance of flavor and hotness.

This is not extreme hotness, but rather a more mild or medium hotness that allows you to enjoy the delicious flavors of the peppers.-  MadewithMalagueta Peppers from Brazil Tastes great on chips, Mexican Food, sandwiches, meat, etc.

Made with all natural ingredients – no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, and no artificial ingredients”  (Source Chef Cristiane Publicity Materials)
