Summer time is time for trips to the park, pool, beach or local swimming hole. Sometimes these activities mean carrying a lot of stuff. A good beach bag has a stylish Summer look, yet can fit our beach (or grass) blankets, sunscreen, hats, snacks, toys, and more!
I recently received a large Carol S Miller hand woven beach bag. Spoiler alert: I was amazed at how pretty this bag is and even more amazed at how much I could fit inside the bag.
My Experience Using the Carol S Miller Beach Bag:
The above photograph features items I would take on a beach trip. Most of it fit within the bag (I wore the glasses, flip-flops and hoodie). Even the blue carpet fit inside the bag (if I used a thinner beach towel, I think think the hoodie would have fit!).
Just to be explicit, I put the following in my Carol S Miller Beach Bag: the blue rug, my Hoopnotica travel hula hoop, a playground ball, water-resistant sunscreen, a Kindle, a Kindle Fire, a mini-cooler bag that can fit drinks and snacks, and an ECOlunchbox Wool Insulated lunchette bag for snacks. Unfortunately, my kite was too long to fit, so I will be carrying it.
I think if you are going on a family trip you might need to be more selective in what you pack or take more than one bag. But the size is ample for a couple of people.
Not only is the size impressive, I like the pink and turquoise colored pattern. The bag is available in a few colors and sizes–so if you prefer a smaller bag or a different color combination there are options. I also love that it is fair trade and hand made.
I am impressed with this bag and plan to use it throughout the Summer.
