Featured Ingredients:
Nordic Bilberry Powder – Pure Dehydrated Bilberry Powder
According to Nordic, Bilberry contains “the highest antioxidant level, bite for bite of any berry.” This dehydrated bilberry powder can be mixed in with many foods and drinks. Bilberry is similar to a blueberry, but much higher vitamin and anthocyanin content.
Nordic Bilberry Powder is my first powdered billberry product. I enjoy it in smoothies and mixed into yogurt and oatmeal. The color is deep blue — almost purple. It blends in with the chocolate in this smoothie, but it adds a deep blue or purple color when mixed with lighter colored foods. I like the berry taste and it is a nice alternative when fresh berries are not readily available!

Viva Labs Organic Cacao Powder
I have mentioned this cacao powder and Viva Labs’ cacao nibs a few times. They offer a delicious chocolate flavor complete with no added sugars or sweeteners. The cacao levels are higher than many commercial chocolates so you can enjoy the anti-oxidants.
Viva Labs Organic Goji Berries
According to Viva Labs, “Goji Berries, sometimes known as “wolfberries”, have been used for thousands of years in ancient Asian medicine for their wide array of health benefits including, enhancing longevity, defending cells against the effects of oxidation and improving mental clarity. With over 20 trace minerals and 18 amino acids, these small, yet powerful sweet red berries can make the simplest recipe bold and vibrant.”
I like to use them as an alternative to raisins and in trail mixes. This is my first time using dried Goji berries in a smoothie, but they blend in very nicely.
This looks absolutely delicious!!! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
