Free Tone And Trim Workout From Grokker

Feeling Fit is proud to collaborate with Grokker to bring you this free Tone and Trim workout led by Jamie McFaden. Tone and Trim is a fun, efficient bodyweight workout that focuses on upper body and core strength. I also felt an aerobic effect from this circuit workout — perhaps it was the boxing-inspired moves!

This workout is geared for the upper body. It utilizes bodyweight strength training and there are bouts of cardio for endurance training. In order to be a well-rounded swimmer or athlete – you must train in many ways. One thing that is great about this workout is that there is NO equipment so you can literally do it anywhere. These moves are basic yet effective. Not to mention it is only 20 minutes and will leave you feeling stronger!”

Written Instructions For Grokker’s Tone and Trim Workout:

Here is a written breakdown of the workout from Grokker. One thing I like about Grokker is that they provide written outlines of each workout. I like having an easy reminder of which exercises come next.

Each move lasts 30 seconds.

Warm up:

  • Step tap reaches
  • Toe taps
  • Jumping jacks
  • Arm circles/shoulder rolls
  • Hip rolls
  • Hamstring curls

Circuit:

  • Push ups
  • Dips
  • Plank jacks
  • Reverse plank
  • Superman
  • Bird dogs
  • Bear crawls
  • Punch combo

REPEAT circuit twice

Cool down:

  • Runner’s lunge
  • Hamstring stretch
  • Triangle pose
  • Switch sides
  • Deep breaths

    It has always been one of my goals to get into better shape. I have lost a lot of weight in the past year and I really need to focus on trimming up! This workout seems like it would be fairly easy to complete and stick to! Thanks!
