The HIIT Game makes an intense workout into a fun game. It is perfect for those of us who are competitive — whether we prefer to compete with others or ourselves!
We can play the HIIT Game alone, with another person or with a group. The game includes a couple of decks of cards containing exercises, a pair of dice, and other cards to enhance the game play aspect. I have only played the HIIT Game alone, but I can see that this can get ruthless with a group!

My Experience Using the HIIT Workout Game:
I frequently use streaming media and workout DVDs to guide my home workouts. But sometimes I just want to put on a great music playlist and go. If I can get a great workout in 20 minutes all the better. The HIIT game is perfect for those times. It is also perfect for travel and the exercises are all equipment free body-weight exercises. You can do them just about anywhere and since the intensity is high, it is also time efficient.

Sometimes I like to warm up then do a very short high intensity interval workout followed by milder aerobic exercise (usually dancing). I found when I did this, I could dance, swim and hike easier as it really helped build my stamina. I could climb the stairs chattering away without getting breathless. Also, I found this pattern seemed to help if I did it a couple of times a week (and if I also ate right and followed a regular strength training program). I have not done any HIIT workouts in a while, and I really should as I have gained a few pounds in recent months.
I love the game aspect of the HIIT game so it seems a perfect companion to add a little HIIT back into my life!

The cards are color coded by muscle group and assigned a point value according to their difficulty. Each card has a silhouette of the exercise being performed and a description of how to perform the exercise.
