Have Good Sweaty Fun With the HIIT Workout Game #hiitbystack52

Disclosure: Feeling Fit received a complimentary product to make this review possible. Thank you!

The HIIT Game makes an intense workout into a fun game. It is perfect for those of us who are competitive — whether we prefer to compete with others or ourselves!

We can play the HIIT Game alone, with another person or with a group. The game includes a couple of decks of cards containing exercises, a pair of dice, and other cards to enhance the game play aspect. I have only played the HIIT Game alone, but I can see that this can get ruthless with a group!

My Experience Using the HIIT Workout Game:

I frequently use streaming media and workout DVDs to guide my home workouts. But sometimes I just want to put on a great music playlist and go. If I can get a great workout in 20 minutes all the better. The HIIT game is perfect for those times. It is also perfect for travel and the exercises are all equipment free body-weight exercises. You can do them just about anywhere and since the intensity is high, it is also time efficient.

As shown above, the HIIT Game exercise cards are color coded by muscle group areas.

Sometimes I like to  warm up then do a very short high intensity interval workout followed by milder aerobic exercise (usually dancing). I found when I did this, I could dance, swim and hike easier as it really helped build my stamina. I could climb the stairs chattering away without getting breathless. Also, I found this pattern seemed to help if I did it a couple of times a week (and if I also ate right and followed a regular strength training program). I have not done any HIIT workouts in a while, and I really should as I have gained a few pounds in recent months.

I love the game aspect of the HIIT game so it seems a perfect companion to add a little HIIT back into my life!

More About The HIIT Workout From Stack 52:

Turn exercising into a fun fitness competition using high intensity interval training. Scientific studies have proven that HIIT burns fat, increases aerobic and anaerobic capacity, and increases your metabolism more effectively than traditional workouts. This portable game comes packed with fitness cards and dice and will give you a virtually unlimited number of workout combinations with no equipment needed. Play by yourself or with friends and get ready to sweat!

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. HIIT is a training regime in which you give all-out, 100% percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. About the Cards. The cards are color coded by muscle group and assigned a point value according to their difficulty. Each card has a silhouette of the exercise being performed and a description of how to perform the exercise. A bit.ly short link and QR code on each card links to a video of Sergeant Volkin demonstrating the exercise.  (Source Stack 52 Promotional materials)
