Vitamin C is good for you and it is also good for your skin! A good vitamin C serum is high on my list of effective skin care products. Also high on the list is a good sunscreen. I feel the two work together as vitamin C helps reverse small amounts of sun damage and a good sunscreen prevents sun damage (though not always 100%). Vitamin C and sunscreen make a great team in preventing premature aging to the skin!

Why Use Vitamin C Serum:
I have used topical vitamin C serum on my face for months I personally find that it helps my skin tone even out, my skin doesn’t seem to need exfoliation as often and it generally looks clearer and brighter. I do regularly wear sunscreen, but sometimes in the summer I get large freckles when using an outdoor swimming pool. I was able to fade these by using a vitamin C serum twice a day. After a few months of consistent use, I do not feel the need to wear as much makeup or concealer.
It seems that vitamin C works best in combination with vitamin E, Ferulic Acid, and Hyaluronic Acid. New Radiance Naturals. Vitamin C Serum does include those complementary ingredients. It boasts a 20% vitamin C concentration (another quality I look for). The vitamin C is in the form of Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate. This form of C is often less irritating to sensitive skin than some other popular forms of vitamin C–but everyone’s skin is different so be sure to do a patch test first. (I recommend a patch test for any new product, I try a lot of skin care products and every time I have had a bad experience was when I skipped my own advice).

How to Use New Radiance Naturals Vitamin C Serum:
I like to apply my vitamin C serum twice a day. First in the morning after my shower. The C is the first serum I apply, after giving it a chance to absorb I apply any other daytime serum. Then after the serum absorbs, I apply sunscreen. I am usually drying my hair or brushing/flossing my teeth between serum applications (in case you are wondering how to do without spending all morning on personal care). It is debatable whether you need to allow each serum time to absorb, but I do just in case.
My second application is in the evening after removing my makeup. Then I apply any other treatments.
