My Thoughts And Impressions of Program Your Healthy Weight:
We will never engage in size shaming on Feeling Fit as the right weight for you is the weight where you feel happy and healthy. It isn’t about reaching a certain number on a chart or looking ripped. However, if those are your goals, go for it! We do not believe in slim shaming either!
Whatever your goals, to truly live a fit lifestyle it helps if we feel confident and comfortable in our own skin. I know for me personally weight management is about more than what I eat and exercise. Well, yes, it really is all about eating less and moving more. But that is easier said than done.
Sometimes there are mental or emotional barriers to making the right choices. For me, stress is an eating trigger. I either stress eat or stress exercise. If I “stress exercise”, then my weight creeps down a little and if I “stress eat” it creeps up. So getting enough sleep, managing stress and staying active help me make healthier food choices.
