Review: Chapstick Hydration Lock Moisture and Renew

October 26, 2014 By Sam Sly Leave a Comment

My lips usually get very chapped during season changes as the weather transitions between Summer and nearly-constant rain (I live in the Northwest, USA). Thankfully, Chapstick Hydration Lock Moisture and Renew came to the rescue!

Me and My Chapstick

#PutYourLipsFirst #chapstickplease

I received a free sample of Chapstick Hydration Lock Moisture and Renew through Smiley360.

Product Description from Chapstick:

New ChapStick® dual-ended Hydration Lock Moisturize & Renew with advanced anti-aging formulas, delivers advanced moisturizing benefits for fuller, smoother and younger looking lips, and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Moisture  End – Description and Ingredients:

Chapstick Moisturize Ingredients List

One one side is the “Moisturize” end which includes antioxidants and moisturizers. This formula is specially designed for long-lasting hydration to help “give lips a fuller and smoother appearance.” Okay, I notice my lips feel soft and smooth when I use this, but I haven’t noticed them looking “fuller”. According Chapstick:

The Moisturize side includes antioxidant CoQ10 and Hyaluronic Spheres. This formula is specially designed for long-lasting hydration to help give lips a fuller and smoother appearance.

Renew End – Description and Ingredients:

Chapstick Renew Ingredients List

On the other side is the Renew end which is made from natural butters such as Shea and Mango. The renew end softens and conditions lips.

My Experience With Chapstick Hydration Lock Moisture and Renew:

My lips usually get very chapped during season changes as the weather transitions between Summer and nearly-constant rain (I live in the Northwest). My new ChapStick® Dual-ended Hydration Lock Moisturize and Renew came just in time! My lips were a little chapped when the Moisture and Renew arrived and are not anymore. I think the packaging is very sleek and attractive and the product seems effective.

The balm fits neatly in a purse, I think it is a little longer than other balms I tried. My favorite thing about Hydration lock is it allows me to carry two lip balm products for ease of application and convenience.

I recommend this as an effective lip balm.  I enjoy the convenience of being able to carry two lip balm products in one.

Where to Purchase Chapstick Hydration Lock Moisture and Renew:

Chapstick Hydration Lock “Moisture and Renew” is available at local drug stores and grocery stores. See chapstick.com for more information. It is also available on (affiliate link to follow): Amazon.com

Sam isn't really that "sly", but a college roommate thought so since she had Sly and The Family Stone on nearly constant rotation. When not editing Feeling Fit, Sam can be found pretending to be "sly" and "feeling fit"!
