My Review of Simlu Basic Skater Skirt

I love the fit and flare look of this skater skirt. The style is easy and versatile.

I found the sizing true when I consulted the measurement chart. I was in between a couple of sizes and could have gone either way. I like the larger size I ordered, but sometimes the skirt shifts around as I wear it so I probably should have ordered the smaller of the two sizes. However, since my measurements put me between sizes, I would say that the skirt runs true to size.

The color I chose is a lovely soft but bright mint green color that works well for Spring or Summer. I would be careful on a breezy day as the skirt moves a lot and could fly up on a windy day. In a few places the gathers were a little strange, but overall I am super pleased.

The stitching is even, and the finishing is neat. I was a little surprised with the quality given the price range. The fabric is soft and a comfortable mid-weight fabric. It can be slightly sheer if I wear dark underpants, but I think this is due to the light color. Light to medium toned undergarments do not show through, and I imagine this would not be a problem with the darker color choices.
