Simply Essential Tips for A Relaxing Bath - Get a Good Bath Pillow!

A good bath is one of the most affordable luxuries. All you need are the basics—a clean tub and some warm water. Adding a few more items and products can transform a bath from basic to luxurious. Who needs a spa trip when you can transform your own bathroom into a healing and relaxing spa?

One thing that can transform a bath from functionally basic to amazingly relaxing is a good bath pillow. I was excited when Simply Essentials sent me their Luxury Spa Bath Pillow to review. I have used this pillow for the past three weeks, I always like to make good use of a product before I publically post my opinion.

First, I must say this is the Simply Essential’s Luxury Spa Bath Pillow is the nicest I have owned! My initial impression is that it is a little firmer than I expected. It turned out that was not a problem. The firmness of the pillow holds my head in place so I can relax. This is just wonderful after a workout or a hard day’s work.

I know, it’s a hard life. To prepare for this review I “had” to draw a warm bath. I used a lovely bubble bath bar to create an inviting blanket of bubbles. I added a wonderful playlist (through my battery powered Bluetooth speaker to be safe), a candle, a glass of Pinot Noir, and a natural bristled bath brush. Lovely! I also had my plushest bath towels waiting as it can be a shock to leave my relaxing bath haven. This was all for research purposes of course! Oh, the perfect bath is not complete without
Luxury Spa Bath Pillow.

My conclusion — Simply Essential’s Luxury Spa Bath Pillow lives up to the name! I will list the features and benefits later in this review. One thing to note, the pillow can work from a variety of angles. The way shown in this photograph wasn’t quite right for my bathtub. I found it more comfortable when I reversed it. You may want to experiment to find the right angle in your tub.

My bathroom is not style-magazine ready, but a nice bath still makes me feel like Cleopatra!
